Spanish Galleon 1733 Wreck
Located on Little Conch Reef

El Infante, also known as Nuestra Senora de Balveneda was sunk by a hurricane on July 13, 1733. She was part of the "Silver Plate Fleet"  of 21 ships. Only about 10 ships have been found. She was carrying silver bullion & coins, much of which was salvaged in the 1950's and since by salvors working under the required permits. The wreckage lies in about 17' of water and is comprised of a large area of river rock ballast stones and some wooden timbers exposed. 

The artifacts seen in the photos below were placed by German videographers filming a story about Conquistadors.
